Installation#
The following procedure is recommended at the starting-up:
Mounting of the hands
Selection of time zone
Positioning of the magnet antenna
Mounting of the power supply
Checking of the reception
Mounting of hands#
The shafts of the hour and minute hands are positioned on the reference position (12 o’clock) at the factory. The hands shall be carefully fixed and tightened on the shafts. Enough space must be available between the hands.
The position 12 o’clock must in any case be checked after the mounting
Checking of the hand position#
Install the power supply.
The clock runs to 12 o’clock position
Is the position of hands at 12h position?
If the hand position is wrong, carefully loosen the hands, adjust and tighten.
Check the 12 o’clock position again (initiating by a short interruption of the power supply).
The radio reception will thus be activated. With sufficient reception the clock runs from the 12 o’clock position to the correct time after few minutes.
After the correct setting the hands must not be turned by hand any more!
Configuration / Settings#
Configuration can be made using USB. Connect the movement to a phone or a computer using an USB-C cable. Connect to the COM port to change settings. Type “help” to see available commands.
By default, Timezone is set to Zürich, which is Central European Time (CET). To change it use the command clock set timeZone <name>. Most official IANA time zones are valid, they are entered without the continent region prefix (eg enter Berlin instead of Europe/Berlin)
Positioning of the magnet antenna#
The magnet antenna must be connected to the GNSS antenna connector and installed outdoors (shading from buildings should be avoided). The GPS receiver shall be connected to the input of the GU 193(t) V2.

Mounting of the power supply#
To open the battery box lift the cover with a screwdriver, which is placed in the foreseen space, and press lightly downwards (see picture).
Possible power supplies:
1 Lithium battery 3.6V 35 Ah (Art. 106895)
2 Alkaline DD batteries 1.5V @todo SAP Nummer
Ext. power supply 230VAC NU 192 V3 @todo SAP Nummer
Please pay attention to the polarity of the power supply! As soon as the movement is under power, the hands will start moving.
The electric contact can be improved through a slight tightening of the synthetic screw. The lithium battery and the external power supply shall be connected by using the corresponding connection wires.
Reception check#
During the reception procedure a side-positioned LED will emit a flash pattern, which indicates the state.
The following possibilities to reactivate the reception procedure exist:
Interrupt the power supply
A short pressure on the operation button
Wait until the next scheduled synchronization
